2020: Parenting in a Pandemic...how ya'll doing? 😅
Hi, Parents!
I see you. Have you seen you in a while? Like really taken a look in the mirror and asked, "Honey, how are you?"
We're five months into one of the weirdest life-experiences and I don't really know how to answer that question myself. Parenting during this pandemic has simultaneously been a great achievement and an epic failure. Although every day is a new one, it sure feels like it's been one very long Monday.
How are you all coping? I find that as my family gears up for the start of virtual school (and I work my tail off to bring you all something brand new), I need to get my daily self-care shit together! Like yesterday, actually. Because when I'm in an okay place mentally, emotionally, and physically, it greatly helps those around me to amplify their wellness too.
So I'm sharing a few things I have on my list to keep my health and sanity intact. Take a peek and I'm sure there will be some gems to help you...wherever you may be right now.
